The power windows only work when the ignition key is in the «ON» («On»).
The glass of each door is raised or lowered if the corresponding switch button is pressed.
Attention! Before using the power window, make sure that the pop-up window does not pinch your head, hands, fingers, etc.
Attention! Do not leave the vehicle without removing the key from the ignition.
Attention! Do not leave a child unsupervised in the vehicle or a person who is unable to safely operate the power window switches.
Note. Repeated use of the power windows with the engine off may drain the battery. Use the power windows only when the engine is running.
Power window switches on the driver's door
Using the switches on the driver's door, you can control the power windows of all doors of the car. The glass can be lowered or raised by pressing the corresponding switch. Push the switch down to lower the window and pull the switch up to raise the window.
If the switch is pushed all the way down, the window will automatically lower completely; if it is pressed upwards, the glass will automatically rise. If there is a need to stop the movement of the glass, then lightly press the switch in the opposite direction (pull the switch up if the glass moves down, and vice versa, press it down if the glass moves up).
Passenger Power Window Switches
Using these switches, you can control the windows of the corresponding doors.
Push the switch down to lower the window and pull the switch up to raise the window.
Note. The windows of the rear doors open only half way.
Interlock switch
1. Lock position.
2. Unlock position.
If this switch button is pressed, it is not possible to control the power windows of the doors using the switches on the passenger doors.
In order to unlock this button, you need to press it again.
Note. Using the switch on the driver's door, you can raise or lower the glass on any door.
Attention! Remember that a child in the cabin can accidentally turn on the power window and pinch his hands or head with the glass. If there is a child in the car, be sure to lock the power window switches on the passenger doors
Safety glass mechanism
If a hand or head is caught in the rising glass, it will automatically lower.
However, make sure that no one sticks their arms or head out when the glass is raised. The automatically lowered window can be operated again after a few seconds.
Warning! If the safety mechanism operates three or more times in a row, it may disengage. To avoid an accident, be careful not to get your head or hand caught in the rising glass at this time.
Attention! The safety mechanism is disengaged just before the glass is fully raised. This allows the glass to close tightly. Therefore, be careful not to pinch your fingers on the glass.
Note. If the safety mechanism operates three or more times in succession, it may trip and the glass may not close properly. In this case, perform the following operations. If the window is open, gradually pull the appropriate power window switch up until the window closes tightly. Then release this switch, and then pull it again and hold it in this position for at least 1 second. After that, you can operate all windows in the usual way.
