Luke
The sunroof can only be operated when the ignition key is in the «ON» («On»).
The sunroof opens automatically when button 3 is pressed. If you want to stop the sunroof opening, press button 1 or 2.
The sunroof closes automatically when button 2 is pressed. To stop sunroof closing, press button 1 or 3.
When switch 1 is pressed, the rear part of the sunroof is raised to ventilate the passenger compartment.
Note. When the sunroof is ajar, the sunshade will automatically open slightly.
To close the half-open sunroof, press switch 2.
Safety hatch mechanism
If a hand or head is pinched by the closing hatch, it will automatically open. However, make sure that no one sticks their arms or head out when opening or closing the sunroof. Just a few seconds after the automatic activation of the safety mechanism, the sunroof can be operated again using the switches.
If the safety sunroof mechanism operates five or more times in succession, the sunroof may not close properly. In this case, do the following:
- press button 2 several times in succession until the sunroof closes completely;
- as soon as the sunroof closes, press button 2 again and hold it for about 3 s;
- press button 3 to open the sunroof fully and then press button 2 to close the sunroof fully;
- after the operations have been carried out, the sunroof can be operated normally.
Note. Try not to stop the movement of the sunroof before it opens or closes completely. If this happens by chance, repeat all operations (1–3) again.
Attention! The safety mechanism is disabled just before the sunroof is fully closed. This allows the hatch to close tightly. Therefore, be careful not to pinch your fingers in the sunroof.
Sunblind
The sunshade can be opened and closed manually by sliding it.
Attention! When opening and closing the blind, be careful not to pinch your hands.
The sunblind opens automatically when the sunroof opens.
Close the sunroof before closing the sunblind.
The sunblind cannot be closed when the sunroof is open. Do not attempt to close the sun shade while the sunroof is open.
Roof window
The roof window sunblind opens and closes separately. The roof window glass itself cannot be opened or closed.
Roof window sunblind
The roof window sunblind must be opened and closed manually.
Note. When leaving the vehicle, make sure the sunroof is closed and the key is removed from the ignition.
Note. Do not attempt to turn on the sunroof if it is (Luke) frozen (after a snowfall or in severe frost)
Note. Do not sit on or place luggage or heavy objects on or near the sunroof.
Note. As soon as the sunroof fully closes or opens, immediately release the switch button.
If the sunroof does not open or close when the power button is pressed, check to see if anything is under it.
If the car is equipped with a roof rack, be careful not to let the sunroof and the trunk come into contact when opening the sunroof to ventilate the passenger compartment.
Make sure the sunroof is tightly closed before washing or leaving the vehicle.
When covering the car with wax paste, make sure that it does not get on the seal (black rubber), installed along the perimeter of the hatch opening. If wax gets on the seal, the hatch seal will not be sealed.
After washing the vehicle or after rain, remove water from the sunroof before opening the sunroof.
Repeated use of the power sunroof with the engine off may drain the battery. Use the power sunroof only when the engine is running.
