Spare wheel removal (for vehicles with compact spare wheel)
Raise the luggage compartment floor and attach hook A as shown in the illustration. The hook is located on the inside of the luggage compartment floor.
Raise the floor storage box in the luggage compartment and attach the hook loop to slot B.
Loosen the spare wheel mounting bolt by turning the wheel wrench counterclockwise. Remove the spare wheel.
Spare wheel storage
Remove the spare for storage by following the above steps in reverse order.
Compact spare wheel
The purpose of the compact spare wheel is, firstly, to save space in the luggage compartment, and, secondly, due to its lower weight, to facilitate the replacement of a flat tire.
Attention! The pressure must be periodically checked and the pressure of the specified value in the tire of the spare wheel must be maintained during its storage. Driving with insufficient tire pressure can lead to an accident (accidents). If there is no other way (except driving with insufficient tire pressure) slow down and find a way to bring the air pressure up to the specified value as soon as possible.
The compact spare tire is for temporary use only and should be replaced immediately after repair or replacement of the full size tire.
When using the compact spare tire, do not exceed a vehicle speed of 80 km/h.
The stability and handling of a compact spare tire is worse than a full size tire. When using a compact spare tire, avoid hard acceleration, hard braking and hard steering.
Avoid automatic washes and driving over objects that could damage the underbody of the vehicle. Because the compact spare tire is smaller than the full size tire, the ground clearance (distance between the bottom of the car and the road surface) car is noticeably reduced.
The compact spare tire is designed specifically for a specific vehicle and should not be used on any other vehicle.
Do not use snow chains on the compact spare wheel as the chain will not be securely fastened on a smaller tire. This can cause damage to the wheel and the loss of the snow chain. If you have a flat front wheel with a snow chain on, first remove the rear wheel, put a compact spare wheel in its place, then replace the removed rear wheel in place of the front flat tire, and thus the snow chains can be used again.
Do not fit a compact spare tire to any other rim, and do not fit a standard tyre, winter tyre, caps or rims to a compact spare rim. If such an attempt is made, it will either damage the above parts or damage other parts of the car.
After installing the compact spare tire, the overall height of the vehicle is slightly reduced, as the diameter of the compact spare wheel is smaller than that of the standard wheel. Therefore, when driving over bumps and bumps in the road, take this into account and do not drive the car in the same manner as on standard wheels.
Do not fit more than one compact spare wheel at a time.
When a tire wear indicator appears on the tread, the tire must be replaced.
