A - control lamps for the position of the selector lever. The indicator lamps on the instrument panel are designed to indicate the position of the automatic transmission selector, and one of these lamps lights up when the ignition key is turned to position «ON» («ON»).
B - position indicator lamp «N» selector lever. If the position indicator lamp «N» selector lever flashes when the selector lever is in position «D» («Movement») or in the slot for the manual shift mode, this indicates a possible malfunction of the automatic transmission.
Control lamp of temperature of ATF liquid in an automatic transmission (red, for vehicles with automatic transmission)
This lamp comes on when the temperature of the ATF in the automatic transmission is above the maximum temperature. This lamp normally comes on when the ignition key is turned to the «ON» («On») and goes out a few seconds after starting the engine.
Attention! If this lamp lights up, slow down and stop the vehicle in a safe place.
Then move the selector to position «R» («Parking») and leave the engine idling until the fluid temperature warning light goes out. When this lamp goes out, the vehicle can be driven normally. If this warning lamp does not go out, then the car should be checked by an authorized MITSUBISHI dealer.
