Note. Tools and a jack are located under the floor of the luggage compartment.
Removing the jack
Pull strap A to remove the right side of the luggage compartment floor.
Remove the jack.
Car jack storage
Fold up the jack and store it in its storage location. Lower the luggage compartment floor into place.
Jacking up the car
Park the vehicle on a level and stable surface.
Turn on the hazard warning lights and turn the ignition key to the «LOCK» («blocking»).
Engage the parking brake, make sure it is securely engaged, and move the shift lever to neutral «M» («neutral position»).
Place a brake shoe or chock A under the wheel diagonally opposite wheel B to be replaced.
Attention! Before installing the jack, make sure that the brake shoe or chock is placed under the wheel. If the vehicle moves while it is being raised, the jack may come out from under the body and cause an accident.
Note. The brake shoe shown in the picture is not included with the vehicle. It is recommended to purchase it separately for use when needed.
If you don't have a brake shoe, place a stone or other suitable object under the wheel that can hold the wheel in place.
Place the jack under one of the support points C shown in the figure. Use the stop point closest to the wheel to be replaced.
Warning! Do not install the jack in any position other than those specified in the instruction manual. If the jack is not installed in the correct position, the vehicle body may be damaged, and an improperly installed jack may tip over, resulting in injury.
Attention! Do not use the jack on an incline or unstable (loose) surfaces. Otherwise, the jack may tilt or sink into the ground, causing the vehicle to fall. Always place the jack on a flat, hard surface. Before installing the jack, make sure there is no sand or (pebbles) stones.
Turning the axis of the jack by hand, lift it up until the flanging of the threshold D enters the slot of the jack shoe.
Insert pry bar E into (balloon wrench) F. Then insert the bent end of the prybar into the hole on the jack shaft clevis as shown. While slowly turning the wheel wrench, raise the vehicle until the tire is slightly off the ground.
Attention! Raise the vehicle so that the tire is only slightly off the ground. Raising the vehicle higher is dangerous.
Attention! Never stand under the vehicle when it is jacked up. It is not allowed to rock and push the car raised by the jack, and also leave it in this position for longer than necessary. Is it dangerous.
Attention! Do not start the engine or leave it running when the vehicle is jacked up. Otherwise, the car may start moving, and the jack will slip out from under the body.
Attention! Jacked wheels must not be turned, otherwise the other wheels resting on the ground may turn, which will cause the car to jump off the jack.
Attention! When the car is jacked up, no one should be in it.
