Note. After adjustment, return the lever to the [–] position.
To adjust the mirror left, right, up or down, press the corresponding side of switch button B.
- 1. Up.
- 2. Down.
- 3. Right.
- 4. Left.
The outside side rear view mirror can be pressed against the glass of the car door to prevent damage when parking in narrow spaces.
Attention! Do not attempt to adjust the position of the outside rear-view mirrors while the vehicle is moving. It may be dangerous. Adjust them before driving.
Please note that the rear-view mirrors have a convex surface. Therefore, the objects reflected in them look smaller and more distant than when observed with a conventional flat mirror. Therefore, when changing rows, these mirrors should not be used to estimate the distance to vehicles traveling behind.
Exterior mirror heater
When the rear window defroster switch is pressed to the position «ON» («On») the heating of the outside rear-view mirrors is also switched on to eliminate fogging or icing (on some models). Current flows through the heating elements inside the mirrors, thereby clearing them of frost or condensed water droplets. The control lamp C will light up when the heating is operating. Approximately 20 min. the heater will automatically turn off.
