The seat heating can only be activated when the ignition key is in position «ON» («On»).
When the seat heating is switched on, the control lamp A will light up.
Attention! If you need to heat up the seat quickly, turn on the high heat setting. After the seat is warm, switch the heater to low heat to keep the seat warm. When using seat heating, slight changes in seat temperature may be felt. This is due to the operation of the built-in seat heater thermostat and does not indicate a malfunction.
The following categories of persons may become overheated or suffer minor burns while sitting on heated seats (skin redness, blisters, etc.):
- children, elderly and sick people;
- persons with special skin sensitivity;
- very tired people;
- people who have taken alcohol or sleeping pills (sedatives, etc.)
Do not use blankets, pillows, or other insulating materials when the seat heating is on, as this may cause the heating element to overheat. If there are signs of a problem with the seat heater, turn it off immediately.
Note. Do not place heavy objects, pins, needles or other sharp objects on the seats.
Do not use gasoline, diesel fuel, alcohol or other organic solvents to clean the seats; this can lead to damage not only to the upholstery of the seats, but also to their heating element.
If water or other liquid is spilled on the seat, wait for it to dry before turning on the seat heating.
