You can use the cigarette lighter when the ignition key is in the «ON» («On») or «ACC» («Optional equipment»).Push the cigarette lighter handle in as far as it will go.
When the cigarette lighter heats up, it will automatically return to its original position with a click. Take it out of the socket and light it up. After use, insert the cigarette lighter into the socket in its original position.
Note. Do not leave the cigarette lighter unplugged from its socket, as a foreign object may fall into it and a short circuit may occur.
Attention! To avoid burns, do not touch the heating element or the body of the cigarette lighter, only hold it by the handle.
To avoid burns, do not allow children to turn on or play with the cigarette lighter.
If, after pressing the cigarette lighter handle, it does not pop back up after about 30 seconds, then something is wrong with it. Keeping the cigarette lighter pressed for a long time may cause a fire.
Do not leave the cigarette lighter in the fully recessed position, and do not insert a cigarette lighter from another vehicle into the socket. Doing so may cause the cigarette lighter to overheat and cause a fire.
It is recommended to insert only the cigarette lighter into the cigarette lighter socket. The use of accessories plugged into the cigarette lighter socket may damage the socket and cause the cigarette lighter to be poorly held in it.
If the cigarette lighter socket is used as a power source for any additional electrical equipment, then make sure that this electrical equipment is rated for 12 V and its power does not exceed 120 watts. Remember that prolonged use of auxiliary electrical equipment with the engine turned off can lead to battery discharge.
