Attention! Headrests provide protection only if they are properly adjusted.
Height adjustment
To reduce the chance of injury in the event of an accident (clashes) adjust the height of the head restraint so that its center is as close as possible to eye level (for very tall people, set the head restraint to the highest position).
To raise the head restraint, lift it up accordingly. to lower it, move the head restraint down while pressing the head restraint height adjustment button in the direction of the arrow. After adjusting, press down on the head restraint to make sure it is securely locked.
Head restraint tilt adjustment
Tilt the head restraint towards you if you want to tilt it forward. To adjust back, tilt it back.
Removing the head restraints
To remove the headrest, press the height adjustment button A and pull it up. To install the head restraint, first make sure you hold it facing forward, then insert it into the appropriate holes on the seat back and push the height adjustment button A in the direction of the arrow to lower the head restraint.
Make sure that the head restraint height adjustment button A is in the position shown in the figure, then pull the head restraint up to make sure that it cannot pop out of the seatback.
Warning! The front and rear seat headrests are different sizes. When installing the head restraints, pay attention to this so as not to confuse them. Failure to do so may result in serious injury in a traffic accident.
Folding the seats to a horizontal position
If you remove the head restraints and fold back the seat backs completely, you can create one large flat surface in the car.
Warning! Do not carry luggage or passengers in fully reclined seats. It is very dangerous. In the event of an accident, persons or children who are not restrained in the unfolded seats are at increased risk and may be seriously injured or killed. While driving, do not allow adult passengers or children to be in areas of the car that are not equipped with seats or seat belts. Make sure that every passenger in your vehicle is seated and wearing their seat belts, and that the child is securely fastened in the child seat. To ensure the safety of children, do not let them adjust the seats themselves.
Note. If you need to unfold the seats to a horizontal position, first stop the vehicle in a safe place.
Make sure that the seats are adjusted by an adult. Do not allow children to perform this operation as this may lead to unforeseen situations or an accident.
Be careful when moving the seat so as not to pinch your arm or leg.
Do not walk on the seats when they are in a horizontal position.
To make sure the seats are secure, try moving them forward or backward.
Do not jump on or bang on seatbacks.
To raise the seatback, sit on the seat, place your hand on the seatback and slowly lift it up. Do not allow children to perform this operation as this may lead to unforeseen situations or an accident.
