Adjusting the longitudinal position of the seat
Pull up on the seat adjustment lever and move the seat forward or backward to the desired position. After adjustment, release the adjustment lever to lock the seat in the new position.
Attention! To make sure the seat is secure, try moving it forward or backward without using the adjustment lever.
Seat back tilt adjustment
To change the seatback angle, lean forward slightly, pull up on the seatback release lever, then lean back to the desired position and release the lever. The seatback will lock into this position.
To reduce the risk of injury in an accident or sudden braking, the driver's and passenger's seatbacks should be in a position as close to upright as possible while the vehicle is in motion. When the seat back is reclined, the effectiveness of the seat belt protection may be significantly reduced, and there is a high possibility that the passenger may slide out from under the seat belt and be seriously injured.
Attention! The seatback recline mechanism contains a spring that returns the seatback to the upright position when the seatback release lever is pulled up. Therefore, when moving this lever, sit as close to the seat back as possible or hold it with your hand.
