Regulations regarding the transport of children in the front seat of a vehicle vary from country to country.
The sticker shown in the illustration is affixed on vehicles equipped with a front passenger airbag.
If your car has this sticker, never install a child seat in the front passenger seat in which the child is positioned with his back in the direction of travel of the car.
Infants and young children
When transporting infants and young children, please adhere to the following rules:
For the transport of infants, a baby carrier must be used. When transporting small children of such a size that the shoulder belt is at face or neck level when seated, a child seat should be used.
holding fixture (child seat) should be appropriate for the height and weight of the child and fitted properly. For your child's safety, install child seats in the back seat of your vehicle.
Note. Before buying a child seat or «cradle» check if it fits well in the back seat. In some cases, seat belt buckles located on the seat cushion may make it difficult to securely install certain child restraints (child seats).
If such a child seat can be moved forward without much effort on the seat cushion after tightening the belt, a different child seat should be selected. Depending on the type of child seat used and the position of the seats in the car, the child restraint (child seat) can be attached in one of two ways:
- to the lower anchor of the rear seat, but only if the child seat is equipped with an ISOFIX anchorage;
- to the seat belt.
Mounts for child restraint (child seat)
Always install the child seat in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions, using the appropriate mountings provided in the vehicle (see picture). Install the child seat by attaching it as shown in the illustration. Make sure that the installation of this accessory and its location in the vehicle does not conflict with existing local regulations for transporting children.

Control lamp of additional system of passive safety SRS (airbag systems)
On the instrument panel there is a control lamp for the additional passive safety system (SRS). The system conducts a self-diagnosis and, in the event of a malfunction, the SRS warning lamp lights up. When the ignition key is turned to position «ON» («On») or «START» («Starter») the control lamp lights up for a few seconds, after which it should go out. This means that the system is in working order.
The control pump of the SRS security system serves:
- driver's frontal airbag;
- front passenger airbag;
- side airbags;
- pretensioners (pretensioners) seat belts.
