Do a road test.
Spend a few sharp and smooth turns to follow the return of the steering wheel to its original position.
At a vehicle speed of approximately 35 km/h, turn the steering wheel 90°, hold it in this position for a few seconds and release. If the steering wheel moves back through an angle of at least 70°, the steering wheel return can be considered satisfactory.
Note. At the same time, it is possible to feel «gravity» when the steering wheel is reversed, but this is normal (When the engine is idling, the supply of working fluid by the hydraulic pump is usually insufficient).
