2. Do not turn on the wiper when the glass is dry. This can scratch the glass and cause premature wear of the wiper blades.
Note: It is recommended that you replace the wiper blades periodically, as sand and other contaminants on them can scratch the glass.
3. Before turning on the wiper in cold weather, make sure that the wipers are not frozen to the glass. Turning on the wiper with the brushes frozen to the glass can cause the wiper motor to burn out.
4. If the washer does not work, then do not try to turn it on again, check the washer pump.
5. Do not use the washer continuously for more than 20 seconds. Do not operate the washer if there is no washer fluid in the reservoir, as this may cause the washer motor to burn out.
6. Periodically check the fluid level in the washer reservoir and add fluid if necessary. In cold weather, add a recommended solution to the fluid that will not freeze in the reservoir. Otherwise, the washers may fail due to damage to system parts by frozen liquid.
7. When using washers in cold weather, the washer fluid applied to the glass may freeze on it, which will impair visibility. In such weather, before using the washer, first turn on the defroster.
Windshield wiper and washer
Note: Be familiar with the use of windshield wipers and washers.
1. The windshield wiper and washer will operate when the ignition key is in the "ON" or "ACC".
2. To turn on or stop the windshield wiper, move the switch lever to one of the following positions:

O - Off (full stop);
--- - Switching on the wiper in intermittent operation (mode "INT");
| - Wiper on continuous operation at low speed);
|| - Switching on the wiper continuous operation at high speed).

Models without wiper and rear window washer (type 1).
Models with wiper and rear window washer (type 2).
Models with wiper and rear window washer (type 3).
3. On models with intermittent wipers "INT" and a constant interval of their operation, the wiper action interval is several seconds.
4. On models with intermittent wipers "INT" and adjustable interval "INT TIME", the wiper interval can be adjusted by turning the control knob on the switch.
Note: When the vehicle is moving, the value of the selected interval and the adjustment range will change depending on the speed of the vehicle (the higher the speed, the faster the wipers will operate).
5. To defog the windshield during fog or light rain, pull the switch knob up until resistance is felt and then release. If the lever is held in this position, the windshield wiper will operate as long as the lever is held.
6. To turn on the windshield washer, pull the switch lever as shown. Simultaneously with the operation of the washer, the wiper automatically turns on for several strokes of the brushes. When the switch lever is released, the washer will turn off.
Note: if the washer does not work, then do not try to turn it on again, but check the washer pump and the presence of fluid in the washer reservoir.
Rear window wiper and washer

3. To turn on the rear window washer, turn the switch handle in any direction until it stops. At the same time as the washer is activated, the windshield wiper automatically turns on (for two or three brush strokes).
