Removal and installation
− Before starting to remove parts, pump out the refrigerant from the air conditioning system.
− Removal of parts is carried out in the order of numbers indicated in the figures "Removing the capacitor (station wagon until 05.2001 and sedan until 10.2001) ", "Removing the condenser and condenser fan motor (station wagon models from 05.2001) " or "Removing the condenser fan motor (sedan models from 10.2001) ".
Removing the condenser and condenser fan motor (station wagon models from 05.2001). 1 - fan bracket, 2 - condenser electric fan assembly, 3 - fan, 4 - fan motor, 5 - fan cover, 6 - fan diffuser, 7 - top condenser bracket, 8 - low pressure hose connection, 9 - tube connection "A" high pressure, 10 - condenser, 11 - clamp, 12 - receiver-drier.
Removing the capacitor (station wagon until 05.2001 and sedan until 10.2001). 1 - low pressure hose connection, 2 - tube connection "A" high pressure, 3 - condenser, 4 - clamp, 5 - receiver-drier.
Removing the condenser fan motor (sedan models from 10.2001). 1 - condenser electric fan assembly, 2 - fan, 3 - fan motor, 4 - fan diffuser.
− When removing parts, pay attention to the operations for disconnecting the low pressure hose and tube "A" high pressure air conditioning system.
Cover disconnected condenser hoses, tubes and fittings to prevent moisture, dust and other contaminants from entering.
Attention: the hoses must be tight, otherwise the compressor oil and the dryer receiver may be saturated with water vapor from the atmosphere. Do not use porous material to cover pipes and fittings.
− Installation of parts is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
− After completing the installation of the parts, charge the system with refrigerant.
Condenser fan motor test Apply power (battery voltage) to conclusions "1" (+) And "2" (-) and check that the condenser fan motor is running (the fan is spinning).
