Removal and installation
− Before starting to remove parts, remove the glove box and the engine and CVT control unit.
− Removal of parts is carried out in the order of numbers indicated in the figure "Removing the heater fan motor and the servo drive for selecting the air intake mode".
Removing the heater fan motor and the air intake mode selection damper servo. 1 - resistor, 2 - fan motor, 3 - damper servo for selecting the air intake mode.
− When removing the parts, pay attention to the operation of removing the air intake selector servo.
Remove the air intake mode selection servo using the special tool shown in the figure.
− Installation of parts is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
- After completing the installation of the parts, install the glove box and the engine and CVT control unit.
Resistor test
Using a multimeter, measure the resistance between the indicated terminals of the resistor connector. The resistor is considered serviceable if the measured values correspond to the nominal values.

Checking the heater fan motor
Apply battery voltage to terminals "1" (+) And "2" (-) heater fan motor connector and check that the fan motor is running. At the same time, make sure that there is no extraneous noise when the fan rotates.
Caution: To avoid injury, do not touch the fan during the test.
Checking the servomotor of the damper for selecting the air intake mode
1. Supply power (battery voltage) to conclusions "7" (+) And "4" (-) motor connector and check that the air intake mode selector lever moves to the position "FRESH".
2. Supply power (battery voltage) to conclusions "7" (+) And "6" (-) motor connector and check that the air intake mode selector lever moves to the position "RECIRC".
Attention: turn off the power when the damper is in the position "FRESH" (Fresh air) or "RECIRC (recycling).
