Removal and installation
− Before starting to remove parts, carry out the following operations:
- A) Remove the rear seat cushion assembly.
- b) Remove the rear seat back assembly.
- V) Remove the rear shelf trim.
- Parts are removed in the order of the numbers shown in the figure "Removing the rear seat belts".
Removing the rear seat belts (station wagon). 1 - seat belt buckle, 2 - buckle latch and seat belt buckle (rear center seat belt), 3 - pad, 4 - seat belt mounting plate, 5 - seat belt.
Removing the rear seat belts (sedan). 1 - seat belt buckle, 2 - buckle latch and seat belt buckle (rear center seat belt), 3 - rear seat belt.
− Installation of parts is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
− After completing the installation of parts, perform the following operations:
- A) Install the rear shelf trim.
- b) Install the rear seat back assembly.
- V) Install the rear seat cushion assembly.
Examination
Checking the sensor-switch of the unfastened seat belt.
1. Check that the circuit is closed between the terminals "1" And "2" connector when the switch is in the position "ON" (belt not fastened).
2. Check for open circuit between terminals "1" And "2" connector when the switch is in the OFF position" (belt fastened).
