Removal and installation
- Parts are removed in the order of the numbers shown in the figure "Removing the side rear-view mirror".
Removing the side rearview mirror. 1 - plug, 2 - interior decorative cover, 3 - side rear view mirror assembly, 4 - side rear view mirror housing assembly, 5 - mirror element, 6 - instrument panel side trim, 7 - side rear view mirror control switch.
− When removing parts, pay attention to the operation of removing the mirror element.
Press your hand on the top of the mirror element so that it rotates. Wrap a flathead screwdriver with protective tape. Insert a flathead screwdriver into the opening of the mirror housing as shown in the figure, lift up the mirror element and remove it from the base plate.
− Installation of parts is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
− When installing parts, pay attention to the installation operation of the mirror element.
While holding the base plate with a flathead screwdriver, press the mirror element until the latches lock onto the base plate.
Examination
1. Checking the remote control of the side rear-view mirrors.
Check the direction of movement of the mirror element with different connection of the wires of the battery terminals to the connector terminals according to the table below.

2. Checking the side mirror control switch.
Check the condition of the circuit between the terminals at various switch positions according to the table below.
3. Checking the side mirror heaters.
For models with heated side mirrors, check for an open circuit between terminals "1" And "4".
