Removal and installation
- Parts are removed in the order of the numbers shown in the figure "Removing the sunroof".
Removing sunroof. 1 - glass hatch cover assembly; 2 - sunroof control switch panel; 3 - deluxe control switch! roofs (remove the splash guard; ceiling trim and automatic transmission electronic control unit); 4 - drain hose; 5 - electric motor drive sunroof; 6 - mounting bracket for the sunroof switch; 7 - mounting bracket for the interior lighting lamp; 8 - mounting bracket for the sunroof; 9 - sunroof frame with guide assembly.
− When removing parts, pay attention to the following operations:
1. Removing the drain hose.
Tie a cord of sufficient length to the end of the drain hose, tape the connection so that it is smooth, and then pull out the drain hose.
2. Removing the sunroof frame from the rail assembly and using a special tool.
Turn the frame fixing screws and tighten it.
Installation of parts is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
When installing parts, pay attention to the following operations:
1. Installing the drain hose.
A) Tie a cord of sufficient length to the end of the drain hose (which was previously used in the removal), wrap the joint with electrical tape so that it is smooth.
b) Pull on the cord to reinstall the drain hose.
V) Install the rubber grommet and allow the drain hose to protrude as shown in the figure.
2. Initializing the sunroof ECU after installing the sunroof motor.
Note: This procedure is performed if, after installing the sunroof motor, the full closing positions of the sunroof and the motor do not match.
A) Set the manhole cover to position "extreme slope", while pushing the sunroof switch to the position "INCLINE". For precise positioning "extreme slope" the manhole cover must be moved gradually, in several steps, with a stroke of approximately 30 mm per step.
b) Hold the sunroof switch in the position "INCLINE" for 3 seconds when the sunroof is in the "extreme slope". Do not release the switch in the forced stop position until the initialization of the control unit is completed.
V) Set the manhole cover to position "complete closure", while pushing the sunroof switch to the position "CLOSING".
G) Set the manhole cover to position "full opening", while pressing the sunroof switch to the position "OPENING". The movement of the manhole cover must be continuous throughout the entire stroke.
d) Set the manhole cover to position "complete closure", while pressing the sunroof switch to the position "CLOSING". The movement of the manhole cover must be continuous throughout the entire stroke.
Note: Sunroof ECU initialization will be completed after the sunroof motor stops.
- After completing the installation of the parts, perform the following operations:
- A) Adjust sunroof and check sunroof tightness.
Checking the sunroof switch
1. Check that the circuit is closed between the terminals "4" And "5" connector when the switch is in the position "OPENING".
2. Check that there is an open circuit between all terminals of the connector when the switch is in the "OFF".
3. Check that the circuit is closed between the terminals "3" And "4" connector when the switch is in the position "TILT UP".
4. Check that the circuit is closed between the terminals "4" And "6" connector when the switch is in the position "TILT DOWN" or "CLOSING".
Disassembly and assembly
- Parts are removed in the order of the numbers shown in the figure "Dismantling the sunroof".
Dismantling the sunroof. 1 - glass of the roof hatch cover; 2 - compact!» sunroof; 3 - sunroof drive electric motor; 4 - drain chute cover; 5 - reinforcement of the roof hatch frame; 6 - drain chute; 7 - one hundred times; 8 - blind sunroof assembly; 9 - sunroof drive mechanism; 10 - drain chute connecting mechanism; 11 - bracket for fastening the drain gutter assembly; 12 - bushing; 13 - lifting mechanism lute roof assembly; 14 - roof hatch drive cable assembly; 15 - mounting bracket; 16 - adjusting gasket; 17 - sunroof deflector! collection; 18 - sunroof frame assembly.
− Installation of parts is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
