Checking the Fuel Shutoff Valve

The fuel cut-off valve cuts off the fuel supply to the mixing chambers when the ignition is turned off. This prevents the operation of the engine from glow ignition. With a failed valve, the engine cannot be started.

Examination

Turn on the ignition. Remove and reattach the electrical wire from the valve several times. At the same time, valve clicks should be heard.

Otherwise, disconnect the connector and use a jumper to apply voltage directly from the battery. If the valve click is heard, ring the electrical wires, otherwise replace the valve.
