- Check if there is fuel in the tank.
- Remove the fuel hose between (mechanical) gasoline pump and carburetor and substitute a vessel of the appropriate capacity. Briefly turn on the starter, while fuel should flow out of the hose in pulses.
Caution: Fire hazard, do not start a fire!
- If fuel is being supplied, check the fuel level. If the float chamber is empty, check the float and float needle valve (service station work) and replace if necessary.
- If no fuel is being supplied, check the fuel pump.
- If the fuel pump is in order, check the integrity and tightness of the hoses and tubes.
- If the hoses and tubes are in order, remove the fuel tube from the tank and blow it out.
- Check the patency of the fuel tank ventilation device, clean it.
