Engine and exhaust system

According to the maintenance plan, the following work should be carried out:

• Engine: Checking the oil level.
• Engine: Change oil and oil filter.
• Engine: Visual inspection for oil leaks.
• Engine (except for 16 valve): Valve clearance adjustment, see paragraph 1.18.
• Cooling system and heater: Checking the fluid level, checking the concentration of antifreeze. Checking the tightness and contamination of the radiator by external inspection.
• Cooling system and heater: Replacing the cooling concentrate.
• Ignition system (models with contact interrupter): Check closing angle, adjust if necessary.
• Ignition system: Check and, if necessary, adjust the ignition timing.
• V-belt: tension and condition check.
• Diesel engine: Changing the fuel filter.
• Silencer: Check for damage.
• Petrol engine: Check idle speed and CO content.
• Petrol engine: Fuel filter replacement.
• Petrol engine: Check and, if necessary, replace the spark plugs.
• Petrol engine: Check and, if necessary, replace the lambda probe.
• Air filter: Check and replace if necessary.
• Toothed belt replacement.
