Wiper blade rubber replacement

The rubber bands of the brushes are replaced in case of poor cleaning of the glass. Available as complete brushes (rubber brush), and separately rubber bands. When replacing only the gum, try not to bend the brush and do not install bent brushes.

Removing

Raise the brush lever and remove the brush.



Compress both steel tires with pliers from the closed side with an elastic band, remove from the upper bracket and pull out the elastic band complete with tires from the remaining brackets of the brush.

Installation

Loosely insert new rubber -21- without bars into one brush bracket.

Insert both tires -22- into the rubber so that the tabs on the tires face the rubber and insert into the grooves of the rubber.

Compress the two steel bars and the rubber band with pliers and insert into the other staples so that the noses of the staples on both sides fit into the recesses of the rubber band -arrow b-.

Put the brush on the wiper arm and secure.

Lower the lever onto the glass. Make sure that the rubber band adheres to the glass along its entire length.
