Release cars up to 8.88
The fuses are located in the fuse box, which is located on the left under the instrument panel. (The fuses for the heated seats and the electrically operated sunroof are located next to the fuse box behind the dashboard). The fuse rating is coded by its color:
- 10A - red
- 15A - light blue
- 20A - yellow
Vehicles from 9.88
From 9.88 improved fuses are used. They have blade contacts so the old fuses cannot be used.
Relays and fuses are located in 2 fuse boxes, one in the passenger compartment under the cover on the left under the instrument panel, the other in the engine compartment on the right.
The rated current of the fuse is indicated on the reverse side of its body. In addition, the fuse case has a color code, which can also be used to determine the rating. Through the transparent fuse box, you can see if the fuse is blown.
The composition of the fuses may be different depending on the model of the car. The list of fuses is given on the cover of the fuse box and in the vehicle's instruction manual.
Remove cover.
Before replacing a fuse, always switch off the corresponding consumer.
A blown fuse is identified by a melted metal strip.
Vehicles up to 8.88: The fuses are installed in 2 metal clips. When replacing, make sure that the fuse is securely fixed in the clips, if necessary, bend the clip springs. In addition, there should be no corrosion on the terminal contacts.
Vehicles from 9.88: Remove blown fuse. To remove the fuse, there is a plastic tweezer on the cover of the fuse box located in the passenger compartment.
Insert a new fuse of the same rating.
If a newly installed fuse blows after a short time, check the corresponding electrical circuit.
Under no circumstances should the fuse be replaced with wire or similar aids, as this may cause serious damage to the electrical equipment.
It is recommended to always have spare fuses in the machine. There are empty spaces at the bottom of the box next to the plastic tweezers for storing them.
Put the cover on the fuse box.
