Attention: Connectors have different locks. Press the locking lug in the area marked with -arrow- and at the same time pull on the connector.
In case of continuity or when measuring voltage using a measuring device, insert the tips of the device wire lugs only from the back of the connector (cable side), not into the sockets of the connector, see illustration. When test leads are inserted into the sockets of the connector, the sockets are deformed, resulting in a so-called floating contact.
If a connector terminal needs to be replaced, insert a narrow screwdriver from the open side of the connector between the spacer tab and the terminal. Press the spacer lug and pull the connector terminal back by the wire. Insert new terminal until it clicks into place. Pull on the wire to check that the terminal is securely installed.
