When the rear window heating is turned on, after a while the field of visible conductor tracks on the glass should be free of fogging or ice.
In the event of a malfunction, first check the fuse in the fuse box.
If the fuse is OK, check the connector at the rear window, if necessary, clean the connector from corrosion.
If the heated rear window still does not work, check the switch and wiring.

If the heating element breaks, commercially available silver conductive paint helps to restore the connection.
