Wheel balancing

Wheels must be re-balanced before each installation. Balancing is necessary to compensate for uneven mass distribution and material inaccuracies.

In operation, the imbalance manifests itself in the vibrations of the steering wheel. The steering wheel is shaking at a high rate.

As a rule, this judder only appears at certain speeds and disappears when the speed is reduced or increased.

Over time, such imbalance phenomena lead to the destruction of ball bearings, steering gear and shock absorbers.

The wheels must be balanced after every 20,000 km and after every tire repair, as the distribution of mass and material in the tire changes due to wear and repair.
