Removing
Remove the brake drum or wheel hub.
Pull out seal -1-.
Knock out the outer races of the inner and outer bearing with a brass rod. At the same time, in order to avoid distortion of the cages, the rod should be attached in a circle to different places of the bearing cage.
Caution: Only use a shaft in perfect condition so that there are no burrs on the seat of the bearing race.
Clean the brake drum or wheel hub with a clean cloth and alcohol.
Installation
Attention: Bearing race and roller bearing, as well as inner and outer bearings must be from the same manufacturer.
Drive the outer clips to the stop. To do this, the service station uses the devices shown in the figure. If special tools are not available, carefully drive the clips using tubes of the appropriate diameter.
Fill the inside of the hub or cavity of the drum with bearing grease.
Fill with bearing grease (lithium grease) roller bearing, also lubricate the inner surface of the hub.
Both roller bearings, press the surface of the rollers into the hub or brake drum.
Press the oil seal into the wheel hub flush with the edge of the hub.
Install hub or brake drum.
