Attention: Install only ready-made original tubes, and not sold by the meter.
Brake hoses make flexible connections between moving and stationary parts of a vehicle.
lift the car, see par. 29.
Removing the front wheel brake hose
Disconnect the brake hose from the brake caliper and remove.
Loosen the union nut of the brake pipe while holding the nut of the brake hose.
Pull the bracket off with pliers.
Seal the pipe leading to the brake master cylinder with a suitable plug, or first suck out the brake fluid from the reservoir.
Installation
Install only factory approved brake hoses.
Insert a new brake hose into the holder and secure with a bracket. Screw on the union nut of the brake pipe, tighten slightly, with a torque of 15 Nm.
Install the new brake hose so that it has no tension with straight-standing wheels.
After installation, check with the wheel unloaded (the car is raised), that the hose follows all the movements of the wheel without hitting anything.
Caution: Protect brake hoses from contact with oils or kerosene, do not paint or coat with underbody protection.
Remove air from the brake system.
Lower the car.
