The sensor is installed in the air filter housing.
The measured value of the sensor is the current required to maintain a constant temperature of the heated plate. In combination with data on the temperature of the incoming air, this makes it possible to calculate with satisfactory accuracy the mass of air passing through the meter.
The output signal is taken from the sensor in the form of a voltage.
