Replacing the rear bearing of the right balancer shaft

The bearing is replaced using a special washer (1) (see fig. M2 2.116), block mounted and pullers (2 and 3) (see fig. M2 2.117 and M2 2.118), as shown in the pictures.

Bearing removal

1. Install thrust washer (1) to the cylinder block.



2. Using a puller (2), remove the bearing.

Bearing installation

1. Lubricate the new bearing and hole in the block with a little engine oil.

2. Using a puller (3), press in the new bearing.
