Installing the driven and driving gears and the balance shaft seal

1. When installing gears in the housing, lubricate them with engine oil and install by aligning the marks (1).

Installing the balance shaft seal

1. Slide a special guide bush onto the shaft (3).

2. After lubricating the guide and oil seal with a small amount of engine oil, using a mandrel of a suitable diameter, press in the oil seal and remove the guide.
