Reinstall the automatic tensioner mechanism, the lever with the roller and, aligning the pulley marks, put the belt on the pulleys (without sagging) in the following sequence.
1. Crankshaft pulley.
2. Bypass roller.
3. Injection pump pulley.
4. Bypass roller.
5. Camshaft pulley.
6. Roller automatic tensioner.
Note: after putting the belt on the crankshaft pulley, slide the pulley along the key until it stops (to working position).
Once again check the correct alignment of the pulley marks.
Remove the locking pin from the auto tensioner housing.
Rotate the crankshaft 2 turns clockwise and measure the protrusion of the auto tensioner rod, which should be between 2.3-7.6 mm.
Again check the correct alignment of the pulley marks.
