2. Lubricating the working surfaces of the camshaft (necks, cams and gear teeth) with a small amount of engine oil, install the camshaft in the bed of bearings, aligning the marks on the gears, as shown in the figure.
3. Install the bearing caps and tighten, without tightening, the fastening screws.
