Installing the exhaust camshaft bearing caps

1. Install the bearing caps and tighten, without tightening, the fixing screws.

2. After lubricating the O-ring with engine oil, install the oil line.

Attention: when installing bearing caps, pay attention to their markings. The number, orientation and belonging to the camshaft are stamped on the cover. Marking I (Intake) - inlet: E (Exhaust) -release.

3. Tighten the cap screws in the order shown in the figure to the following torques:

• middle covers: 11±1 Nm.
• front bearing cap: 20±1 Nm.
