Extraction of the piston with a rod in gathering

In order not to damage the cylinder mirror, put plastic safety tubes on the connecting rod bolts (2) and remove the piston and connecting rod from the cylinder.

Note: when removing the piston from the cylinder, do not damage the oil jets installed in the cylinder block (see below).

Note: lay out all removed parts (connecting rods, pistons, liners, etc.) in accordance with their belonging to the cylinder, so as not to confuse them during assembly.

Attention: After removing the connecting rod, check the connecting rod bolts for any extension. The check is carried out as follows: tighten the nut (by hand) the entire length of the bolt thread. If a force is felt when tightening, then this indicates an elongation of the bolt, and it must be replaced.
