In the absence of a special device for changing the fluid in the automatic transmission, the following steps must be performed to replace the fluid:
1. Remove the tube connecting the oil cooler to the automatic transmission.
2. Start the engine. This will drain the liquid.
Conditions for draining liquid
Gear selector - in position «N», the engine is idling. Approximate amount of liquid drained in this way: 3.5 liters.
3. Unscrew the drain plug at the bottom of the automatic transmission and drain the remaining fluid.
Approximate amount of liquid drained in this way: 2.0 liters.
4. Install the drain plug and tighten to 32 Nm.
5. Pour 5.5 liters of fluid through the filler neck into the automatic transmission.
6. Start the engine and repeat the procedure described in point 2.
7. Pour 3.5 liters of fresh fluid through the filler neck.
Please note that when changing the oil in the automatic transmission, at least 8 liters of fresh fluid must spill through the oil cooler tube.
8. Connect the oil cooler tube and carefully reinstall the oil dipstick.
9. Start the engine and let it idle for 1-2 minutes.
10. Install the gear selector sequentially in all positions, then return it to the position «N».
11. Check the fluid level on the label «COLD». Add liquid if necessary.
12. Warm up the automatic transmission by driving the car until the fluid temperature reaches (70-80°C).
13. Check the fluid level on the marks «NOT».
