The manufacturer recommends using gear oil of the GL-3 group according to API classification with a viscosity according to SAE 75W-85W.
Filled oil volume:
- manual transmission (2WD) - 2.3 l;
- manual transmission (4WD) - 3.4 l;
- transfer box - 2.5 liters.
Having installed a suitable container under the gearbox or transfer case, first unscrew the filler and then the drain plugs and drain all the oil. If the oil contains metal (steel) particles are captured by a magnet built into the drain plug. When changing the oil, the magnet should be thoroughly cleaned of these particles.
Drain plug tightening torques:
- 37 Nm (manual transmission);
- 32 Nm (transfer case).
Fill with fresh gear oil to the level of the lower edge of the filler hole and tighten the filler plug to the following torque:
- 37 Nm (manual transmission);
- 32 Nm (transfer case).
