Checking the oil level in the manual transmission and transfer case (4WD)

Inspect the manual transmission and transfer case for oil leaks. After unscrewing the filler plug, check the level and condition of the oil (no pollution and metal chips). In case of severe contamination, the oil must be changed. The oil level should be at the level of the lower edge of the filler hole.

After checking, tighten the filler plug to the torque:

• Manual transmission - 37 Nm;
• transfer case - 32 Nm.

Note: check by placing the car on a horizontal section.
