Checking the condition of ball joints and anthers

Check the condition of the ball joints by shaking the wheel manually in the direction of the arrows, as shown in the figures. At the same time, there should be no noticeable knocks in the suspension.

Note: the test is carried out on an unloaded vehicle.

Inspection of anthers

Check the condition of the anthers of the upper and lower ball joints for cracks and breaks. If there is damage, replace the anthers.

Note: if the boot is damaged, accelerated wear and damage to the ball joint are possible.
