Power windows with electric drive
Electric drive steklepedem-ikev operates only when the ignition is switched on (ON).
Attention. Before turning on the power glass, make sure that the head, hand, finger, etc. will not be caught by the moving glass.
When leaving the vehicle, do not leave the key in the ignition.
Do not leave children or persons incapable of safe use of power windows unattended in the vehicle.
Power window switches.
The power windows of all doors are controlled using the switch block located on the armrest of the driver's door. There is also a power window lock button.
Closing and opening of passenger door windows is carried out using a switch located on the corresponding door.
To lower the glass, press the switch; to raise the glass, lift it up.
If the door power window switch is pressed and pulled out as far as it will go, the window will automatically fully lower/raise. To stop the glass from moving, lightly pull the switch when lowering the glass or when raising it.
Note. Frequent activation of the power windows when the engine is not running will drain the battery. Use the power windows only when the engine is running.
The rear door windows only go down to half the height of the window.
Note. It is not possible to stop the rear window in a position other than fully closed for ventilation and fully open.
If you lower the rear window while the rear window defroster is on, the defroster will automatically turn off. If the rear window is then fully raised, the operation of the rear window defroster will depend on the time elapsed on the defroster timer. (The timer turns on for a total of 20 minutes)
If the rear window defroster timer is on, the defroster will turn on again for the remaining time.
If the rear window defroster timer has expired, the defroster will not turn on. To turn on the rear window defroster again, press the defroster button again.
Power window lock button
Pressing this button locks the passenger's power window switches and the rear window's power window switch and will not fold or lower the windows, while still allowing any power window to be operated from the driver's seat. To unlock the switches, press the lock button again.
Timer
The door windows and rear window can be raised and lowered within 30 seconds after the ignition is switched on. If the driver's door is opened at this time, the power windows can be used for another 30 seconds.
However, after closing the driver's door, the power windows stop working.
Safety mechanism
If a hand or head gets under the moving glass, the glass will automatically lower.
However, before raising the window, make sure that none of the passengers put their hand or head out the window.
After the safety mechanism has been activated, the glass can be raised after a few seconds.
Attention. After three consecutive activations, the safety mechanism will be temporarily disabled.
If a hand or head gets under the glass at this time, a person may be seriously injured.
The mechanism is also disengaged at the end of the closing stroke, allowing the glass to be fully raised. At this point, you should be especially careful to ensure that your fingers do not fall into the slot.

For opening
1. Pull the lever towards you (3).
