Disassembly is carried out in the order shown in the figure. Assembly is carried out in reverse order.
Removing the piston with cap
To remove the piston with the cap, blow it out with air through the brake hose. Increase the air pressure gradually, otherwise the piston may be damaged.
Removing the piston seal
The seal must be removed with a finger (in order to avoid damage to the surface of the cylinder, it is not recommended to use metal objects). After removal, clean the inside of the cylinder and piston with alcohol or DOT3 or DOT4 brake fluid.
