Attention: do not allow oil, grease and dirt to get on the sliding surfaces of the linings and discs.
Clean the piston and insert into the cylinder with the disc brake piston expander. Install the lining clamp and the lining on the caliper and tighten the screw with a torque of 27±4 Nm. Start the engine, depress the brake pedal hard two or three times and stop the engine. Rotate the brake disc ten times forward.
Using a spring balance, measure the forward sliding moment of the hub and calculate the difference between the first measurement and this one. Standard value: 56 N or less. If the value is above the standard, disassemble the piston and check it for dirt and wear, seal wear, and pin slip.
