Removing
1. Jack up the car and put it on stands.
2. Having marked the mounting position of the components, disconnect the propeller shaft from the differential flange and tie it with wire to the elements of the bottom of the car.
3. Holding the connecting flange from turning, give the large self-locking nut located in its center.
4. Using a puller, dismantle the flange and remove the differential drive gear oil seal.
Installation
1. Lightly lubricate the lips of the new oil seal and the mating surface of the connecting flange with multipurpose grease. Using a suitable mandrel, seat the oil seal in its regular place.
2. Install the connecting flange and tighten its self-locking nut to the required torque (157÷220 Nm). The flange turning torque should be about 0.45 Nm with new or well lubricated bearings.
3. Reinstall the cardan shaft.
