Note. The hydraulic clutch actuator used on other models does not need to be adjusted.
Adjustment
1. Measure the clutch pedal height (A). Compare the measurement result with the requirements of the Specifications (162÷165 mm).
Note. Pedal height adjustment on these models is not possible and if the measurement results are out of range, the pedal assembly needs to be replaced.
2. Depress the clutch pedal several times and evaluate the amount of its free play (until the moment of resistance). If the measurement result is out of range (17÷22 mm), make appropriate adjustments (see below).
3. Adjustment is made by turning the adjusting nut of the cable sheath located on the bulkhead of the engine compartment.
4. Depress the clutch pedal several times and repeat the test.
Removing
1. Loosen the cable by turning the adjusting wheel counterclockwise.
2. Release the cable locks.
3. Remove the cotter pin and disconnect the cable from the clutch actuator lever on the manual transmission housing.
4. Disconnect the cable from the clutch pedal and remove it from the car - try to remember the assembly route.
Installation
1. Install the cable on the car, laying it in accordance with the route fixed during the dismantling of the assembly. Connect the cable to the clutch pedal and the actuating lever and secure it with all the clips provided.
Note. The mounting pin must be replaced without fail.
2. Lubricate all contact points of the cable assembly.
3. Adjust pedal free play (see above).
