Removing
1. Disconnect the negative cable from the battery.
If the stereo system installed in the car is equipped with a security code, before disconnecting the battery, make sure that you have the correct combination to activate the audio system!
2. Remove transmission.
3. On models with manual transmission, remove the clutch assembly (see chapter Clutch and transmission line).
4. Mark position of a flywheel/drive disk concerning a cranked shaft and turn out fixing bolts.
5. On AT models, remove the drive disk adapter.
6. Remove the flywheel/drive plate from the engine.
Installation
1. Lubricate the fixing bolts with a special sealant for fixing threaded connections.
2. Connect the flywheel/drive plate assembly to the crankshaft flange.
3. On AT models, install the drive disk adapter.
4. Screw in the mounting bolts and tighten them with the required force (135 Nm: for 1.5L models; 130÷140 Nm: for models 1.6 l, 2.0 l and 2.4 l; 100 Nm: for 1.8 l and 53÷56 Nm models: for 3.0 l and 3.5 l models).
5. On models with manual transmission, reinstall the clutch assembly (see chapter Clutch and transmission line).
6. Install transmission.
7. Connect the negative cable to the battery.
