1. Take a short car ride (about 15 minutes long) a trip to warm up the oil in the transfer case, - if possible, turn on the all-wheel drive mode, try to drive the car at all possible speeds, including reversing.
2. Jack up the car and put it on stands.
3. Place a suitable capacity drain container under the transfer case.
4. First turn out the filler, then the drain plugs of the transfer box crankcase and drain the oil into the prepared container.
5. After the oil flow stops, wipe the drain plug, screw it into place and tighten with the required force (32 Nm).
6. Pour the required amount of fresh oil of the required grade into the box through the filler / control hole - the oil should begin to flow out over the edge of the hole.
7. Screw the plug into place and tighten to the required torque (32 Nm). Lower the car to the ground.
8. Take the car for a short trip, after which check the level of lubrication in the transfer case again.
