Warning! Driving with the head restraints removed increases the risk of injury to the driver/passengers in the event of an accident! Remember that the rear seat headrests are different in design from the front - a mistake in the installation of the headrests greatly increases the risk of injury!
The head restraints are used to reduce the risk of injury to the driver/passenger's cervical spine when hitting the rear of the vehicle.
Attention! The effectiveness of the functioning of the head restraint is determined by the correctness of its adjustment and is significantly reduced when laying any pillows between the back of the seated and the back of the seat!
Head restraint height adjustment
1. The head restraint should be installed in such a way that its central part is at eye level of the seated person.
2. Raise the head restraint by pulling it out of the rails in the seat back. To lower the head restraint, push it down while depressing the release button. When you have finished adjusting, release the button and check that the head restraint is secure.
Headrest angle adjustment
The angle of the headrest is manually adjustable.
Removing the head restraints
The head restraint is removed by removing it from the guides in the seat back with the release button depressed. To install the head restraint, first make sure it is facing the correct direction, then insert it into the seat back while pressing the height adjustment button as shown by the arrows. Make sure the height adjustment button is positioned correctly as shown in the illustration and pull the head restraint up to make sure it does not protrude from the seatback.
