Attention! In no case do not install tires of different designs on one axle of the car! It is recommended to change tires on both wheels of the same axle at the same time. If only one wheel is being replaced, make sure that the replacement tire matches the size of the pair.
It is extremely important from the point of view of vehicle handling to maintain the required tire pressure. Regularly, at least once a month, check the tire inflation pressure (see chapter Settings and ongoing maintenance). Also check the pressure before every long trip.
Wheel rims must be replaced in case of deformation, violation of the tightness of tubeless tires on them, severe corrosion damage, violation of vertical symmetry, development of bolt holes to an oval shape, as well as in case of constant spontaneous loosening of fixing nuts. It is not recommended to repair damaged discs using welding or riveting.
Deformation of discs is usually associated with collision with curbs during careless parking of the car. It is unacceptable to continue operating a car with bent rims - the wheel must be repaired at a tire shop. To check the condition of the discs, jack up the car and put it on jack stands. Visually inspect discs for cracks and signs of warping.
An important factor determining the parameters of the movement and braking of the car is the balancing of the wheels as an assembly. Violation of this parameter can significantly reduce the controllability of the vehicle, not to mention a noticeable reduction in tire life. Every time a tire is replaced, the wheel must be balanced in a tire shop.
