Replacement of protective covers of assembly of the steering mechanism

1. Loosen the wheel nuts for the respective wheel. Jack up the front of the car and place it on jack stands. Remove wheels.

2. Loosen the wheel nuts. Jack up the car and place it on jack stands. Remove wheels.

3. Remove the tie rod ends and their locknuts (see Section Removal and installation of drafts of a steering drive).

4. Release bandage tapes of fastening of protective covers of the steering mechanism. Remove covers.

5. Installation is carried out in the reverse order. Bandage tapes are subject to replacement without fail.
