Removing
1. The components of the parking brake actuator on the respective models are shown in the illustrations.
2. Jack up the car and put it on stands.
3. Remove the brake caliper assembly (see Section Removal and installation of brake calipers).
4. Remove the brake disc (see Section Removal, condition check and installation of a brake disk).
5. Remove the anchor springs of the front and rear friction shoes.
6. Remove the adjusting wheel spring and adjuster assembly.
7. Remove spacer bar with return spring.
8. Remove the spring guides and friction shoe anchor pins.
9. Remove shoe assemblies.
10. Release clamps, turn out fixing bolts and remove a cable of a drive of a parking brake.
Installation
Installation is in the reverse order. Make sure the anchor springs are installed correctly - they have different power characteristics and one of them is marked with paint.
Diamante models since 1997
Removing
1. The design of the parking brake on Diamante models from 1997 vol. shown in the illustration.
2. Jack up the car and put it on stands.
3. Remove the caliper (see Section Removal and installation of brake calipers).
4. Remove the brake disc (see Section Removal, condition check and installation of a brake disk).
5. Turn out screws of directing springs and remove shoe assemblies from a brake board.
Installation
Installation is in the reverse order.
